Northern Illinois Women's Soccer to Hold Alumnae Event on April 27 :: Alumnae match set for 3:30 p.m.; All former players invited to attend

DeKALB, Ill. - In conjunction with a spring exhibition match and the annual alumnae match, the Northern Illinois women's soccer program will host alumnae events on Saturday, April 27.

All NIU women's soccer alums are encouraged to participate in the annual spring alumnae event. At 1 p.m. the current Huskie women's team will face Wisconsin in an exhibition match at Huskie Stadium before squaring off against the NIU Alumnae at 3:30 p.m. Immediate following the match all alums are invited to a post-game gathering at Fatty's.

"We are excited to get our alumnae together for our first event," said Barker. "It is important to stay connected and having them be part of our program is only going to help us become more successful. We hope that this event will help create a strong bond between current and former players in our program."
