Prep: Trained at American Academy of Gymnastics in Wheeling, Ill., as well as Northbrook Gymnastics Training Center. Earned a multitude of honors throughout her high school career; including, placing first at sectionals in the floor and all-around events, first in conference in the all-around, and third at state on the balance beam as a sophomore. Also during that year, in club gymnastics, she placed 5th in the all-around at state in Level 9 competition. Her senior year, she earned first in the conference in the all-around, and on the beam, vault, floor, and bars. Placed fifth in the all-around competition at Sectionals. Her career bests in high school consist of a 9.6 on the beam, 9.65 for the floor exercise, 9.6 on the vault, and 9.5 for the bars. She ended her career with four varsity letters, four most valuable gymnast awards, and was named to the all-state team three times.
