Prep: Trained at the American Academy of Gymnastics in Wheeling, Ill., where she competed as a Level 10 gymnast for six years. Her sophomore year, she earned a first-place finish for the floor, and a second-place finish in the all-around at State competition. Placed third in the all-around her junior year. As a senior, claimed first at state on the bars and second in the all-around event at State. Over the course of her high school career, she earned four varsity letters, was named to the all-conference and all-state teams four years in a row, and earned honors such as Most Valuable Gymnast and co-captain her senior year at high school.

Personal: Daughter of Gordon and Jeannie Reichard of Palatine, Ill. Born Sept. 9, 1988 in Chicago, Ill. While attending NIU, she is pursuing a degree in physical therapy with dreams of becoming a physical therapist or athletic trainer.
