NIU Career Bests: Floor-8.325

2007: Competed in two meets during the season on the floor exercise. In her first appearance, earned a career high 8.325 versus Illinois and Iowa State (2/25). The following meet versus Eastern Michigan (3/4), scored an 8.275 on the bars.

Prep: Level 9 gymnast for three years at Energym Gymnastics in DeKalb, Ill. As a senior, placed eighth in the all-around at the U.S.A. Gymnastics state competition with a score of 34.90 and went on to take 15th place in the regional meet. Scored a 35.20 in the all-around at the 2006 regional. Also advanced to regionals as a sophomore after posting a 32.50 in the all-around on the state level to finish 21st. Fared better at regionals with a 32.80 score, good for 20th place. Did not compete during the 2004-05 season due to a shoulder injury.

Personal: Daughter of Patty and Jay Hurley. Born March 3, 1988. A pre-physical therapy major. Her younger sister, Sarah, joined the NIU team this season.
