NIU Career Bests: Bars - 9.800. Beam- 8.700 (exhibition)

2007: Competed in all 12 meets on bars, and one meet on the beam. Earned a second-place finish on bars versus Bowling Green (1/28) with a score of 9.675, and a fourth-place finish versus Ball State (2/23) with a score of 9.575. Recorded a season high score of 9.750 three times versus Kent State (2/11), Illinois and Iowa State (2/25), and Central Michigan (3/17). Placed in the top 10 eight of 12 meets on the bars, and averaged a score of 9.581. In a meet versus Eastern Michigan (3/4), scored an 8.700 in exhibition on the beam.

2006: Saw action in all 11 meets on bars for the Huskies. Averaged a score of 9.468 for the season with a career-best mark of 9.800 versus Michigan State (3/5). Tied for fifth in that meet on bars and was sixth in meet at Kent State with a 9.650. Second-best score was a 9.750 in dual meet against Western Michigan (2/12). Earned a mark of 9.575 or better in nine of 11 meets, including at the MAC Championships (3/25).

2005: Did not crack the NIU line-up as a freshman.

Prep: Trained at the Buffalo Grove Gymnastics Center in Buffalo Grove, Ill. Competed one year at U.S.A.G. Level 10 as a high school student and advanced to the Regional competition. At the Level 9 competition as a junior, advanced to nationals after she placed second on bars, floor and vault, and was fourth on the beam at regionals. Tallied an all-around score of 36.80 at regionals. At nationals, finished eighth in the all-around with a 36.325, came in ninth on the bars and was 11th on beam. Won the state title on bars in 2003. As a sophomore, placed 13th in the U.S.A.G. state competition. Earned the Viking Pride Award from her high school in 2003 and 2004.

Personal: Daughter of Jana and Greg Holysz. Majoring in physical education. Born May 19, 1986. Named to the NACGC Academic All-America list for 2006 and 2007. Earned Victory Huskie status her junior year.
