2005-06: Valuable contributor as a true freshman. Saw action in all 29 games and started 26. Tied for fourth on the team in minutes played (609) and averaged 21 minutes per game. Averaged 4.4 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Ranked third on the team in assists (47) and steals (21) and fourth in three-pointers made (16-of-57) and free throws made (33). Scored 5.0 points per game and dished out 36 rebounds (2nd on team) in MAC play. Led the team in assists versus Buffalo (1-31-06) with six and was the team leader or co-leader in assists in four games. Recorded double-figures in points in four games, including a season and career-high 16 in the overtime win over Buffalo when she added six rebounds and six assists. Played a career and season high 49 minutes in that game. Drained six field goals in the Toledo game (1-14-06) en route to 14 points and had three boards and three assists. Scored 13 points versus Ohio (1-28-06) and 11 in win over Coppin State (12-30-05). In her first career collegiate game, pulled down a career high seven rebounds versus North Dakota State (11-18-05). Nearly reached double-figures with nine points versus Western Michigan (2-26-06) and added three assists and two rebounds. Prep: Academic and athletic standout for Division I (large school) state powerhouse Oshkosh (WI) West High School Wildcats. Four-time varsity letterwinner for OWHS hoop program which boasts two state championships, three Final Four showings and four Elite Eight appearances during Wilcox' tenure. All-around athlete also earned letters in soccer, volleyball and cross country. Earned academic letter from West and was member of Oneil Honor Society in addition to being a DARE Role Model. Ended 2004-05 senior year earning second team Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-State honor, fourth team Associated Press All-State award, first team All-Area and first team All-Fox Valley Association accolades. Co-captain and team Most Valuable Player pick on 17-7 unit which reached Elite Eight. Coach Terri Schumacher's squad tied for second in rugged Fox Valley Association with 14-4 conference mark. Was named to WBCA's North unit for summer All-Star game. Garnered Fourth-Team WBCA All-State status as a junior in 2003-04 plus First-Team All-Area and First-Team FVA All-Conference honors in helping Oshkosh West capture second straight state crown. Overall 21-5 standard included second-place finish (14-4) in FVA. Averaged 6.8 ppg. along with 3.0 assists and steals per outing and earned team's MVP accolade. Letterwinning reserve for West's undefeated 2002-03 Fox Valley league champ (18-0) that completed the season as a perfect 26-0 state champ. Even as backcourt sub, received Honorable Mention all-conference notice from loop coaches. Letterwinning freshman reserve on 2001-02 Final Four varsity unit. Other sports: Four-time letterwinner in soccer for coach Tim Foye and was a First-Team Fox Valley Association pick as a senior. Earned two letters with volleyball program and was a Second-Team All-FVA runner in one letter-winning campaign with West cross country unit.
