High School: Served as a stonewall in goal during 2003 senior season by setting a school record for shutout victories with 16 during a 19-4-1 campaign which saw Sycamore just miss out on a fourth straight sectional title. Earned First-Team All-State honors from the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association, as well as IHSSCA All-Regional and First-Team All-Suburban Prairie Conference North as Spartans claimed share of SPC North crown. Served as letterwinning back-up keeper for coach Dave Lichamer's 2002 unit which posted a 21-2-2 ledger and made school's first-ever quarterfinal appearance for boys' soccer. Two-year letterman in baseball under Jason Cavanaugh who earned First-Team All-SPC North honors at first base as senior captain. Was tje offensive MVP as Spartans earned sectional title berth. Received SHS Honor Roll recognition all four years.
