Had three solo stops against Western Michigan (11-23).

High School: Selected team captain and Most Valuable Player, first team Chicago Public League All-Section, plus first team Chicago Sun-Times All-Public League and special mention all-area at DB as a senior. Produced 75 tackles and three interceptions at DB and made 25 receptions for 400 yards (16.0 avg.) with four TDs at WR during senior campaign. Tied Public League record with 100-yard interception return during final season after entering year on preseason Chicago Sun-Times Public League All-Defensive squad and Top 100 Area Players list, plus Chicago Tribune league Players to Watch list. Two-time all-section standout and team captain over final two prep seasons. Defensive MVP with 125 tackles and was first team all-section on conference and division champion as a junior. Three time football letterwinner. Honor roll student.
