Career: Owns nine starts (eight at NT and one at DT), 18 tackles, and 481 overall snaps in 20 appearances (2003-05).

2005: Played seven games with five starts, totaling 213 defensive snaps and seven special teams plays. Made 20 tackles, including seven solo stops. Totaled four stops while playing 43 snaps at Michigan (9-3-05). Had three tackles in 39 snaps at Northwestern (9-10-05). Played 29 snaps and had one tackle at Kent State (10-22-05). Totaled 61 snaps and registered seven tackles, including four solo, against Ball State (10-29-05).

2004: Earned second letter with three starts and 157 snaps (144 on defense and 13 on special teams) in six contests. Wound up No. 23 in team tackles (seven). Started first three games of year. Made season-high three stops vs. No. 22 (AP) Maryland (9-4-04). Tied career-high in snaps (68) and posted two hits vs. Southern Illinois (9-11-04). Added two tackles vs. Eastern Michigan (11-20-04). Missed mid-year games with right knee sprain. Played on punt return and kick block units. Opened year at No. 1 NT.

2003: Won first letter with one start and 104 overall snaps (99 on defense and five on special teams) in seven games. Finished No. 23 (tie) in team tackles (11). Made 1-A debut with eight snaps vs. Tennessee Tech (9-6-03). Collected first two tackles in 20 snaps vs. Central Michigan (10-11-03). Posted career-high nine hits and 68 snaps in first start (NT) vs. Eastern Michigan (11-22-03), the most single-game D-line tackles by a NIU player during the season. Made travel squad five times. Started year at No. 2 NT.

2002: Red-shirted as true frosh. Began career at No. 5 NT.

Prep: Two-time all-league pick on back-to-back city grid champions. Named team captain, Lineman of the Year Award recipient, and Second-Team All-Richardson Division on 8-2 loop and city kingpins, plus state Division I playoff qualifier as a senior for coach Adam Walker. Listed as No. 17 college prospect in the state by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (2002). Played OG, OT, and DT. Blocked for option attack that averaged 37.5 ppg. during senior year. Recorded 48 tackles on 7-3 city champion as a junior. Lettered in football (3). Honor Roll student.

Chart: Produced 12 reps with 225 pounds, 315-pound back squat, and 325-pound bench press in off-season conditioning program (2006).
