2007: Appeared in seven games with four starts on the defensive line. Ranked fourth on the team among linemen with 13 tackles. Added two tackles for loss, including one sack. Made his collegiate debut in the season-opener vs. Iowa (9-1). Totaled four tackles, and was in on one tackle for loss before suffering a knee injury in that game. Returned to action as a starter with one tackle, and one-half tackle for loss at Central Michigan (9-29). Made two tackles at Toledo (10-17) and in the win over Kent State (11-10). Recorded a career-high three stops, including a 15-yard sack, vs. Ball State (11-24).

2006: Redshirted.

High School: Team captain and MVP, first team All-North Shore Conference at both OT and DT and league Offensive Lineman of the Year, first team Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Region, first team Milwaukee Journal Sentinel All-Area and Area Lineman of the Year, first team WFCA All-State at OT-DT, first team Associated Press All-State at DT, and second team all-state at OT, plus first team all-state at DT by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a senior. Recorded 65 stops and six sacks on 9-3 WIAA Division 2 quarterfinalist during senior campaign. Wrapped up prep career by playing in WFCA Shrine All-Star Game. Racked up 146 career tackles and 14 sacks. Team captain and Defensive MVP, first team All-NSC at OT and DT, plus league O-lineman of Year, and made 51 tackles and six sacks on 8-4 state quarterfinalist as junior. Team "Rookie of the Year" with 30 tackles for 12-2 state champion as sophomore. Earned three letters in football and track. Placed 2nd in state in the discus (162'1") and 15th in state in the shot put (50'6 ¾") as a senior. Placed 12th in discus and 19th in shot put at state meet as junior. National Honor Society member and seven-semester High Honor Roll student.

Personal: Born July 3, 1988 in Menomonee Falls, Wisc. Management major. Son of Adrian and Kathleen Krause. Brett Favre fan. Hobbies include weightlifting and showing cows. Huskie Scholar achieved a 3.4 GPA in the 2008 spring semester.
