Qualified for the state track meet both his sophomore and junior years. As a sophomore, advanced to the state finals in the 100 meters. His junior season, advanced to the state finals in the 200 meters. Career best in the 100 meters is a 10.4. Parents were both scholarship track and field athletes at Wichita State.
