Accumulated 344 rushing yards and two total touchdowns in 16 games played. 2007: Started the first two games of the season before suffering a season-ending knee injury vs. Southern Illinois (9-8). Carried 13 times for 49 yards, including a 12-yard burst, in the season-opener vs. Iowa (9-1). Caught three passes for 12 yards in that game. Had a career-long 59-yard run for a touchdown rushed the ball 13 times for 91 yards and caught a 13-yard pass in that game.
2006: Saw action in three games before suffering a season-ending injury versus Buffalo. Totaled 12 rushing attempts for 102 yards and one touchdown. Averaged 34.0 yards per game and 8.5 yards per carry. Caught two passes for four yards. Carried twice for nine yards and had two receptions for four yards at Ohio State (9-2). Rushed 10 times for 93 yards, including 58-yard touchdown scamper, against Buffalo (9-16).
2005: Played in 11 games and rushed 21 times for 102 yards.Averaged 4.9 yards per carry with a season-long rush of 38. Also saw time on kickoff team. Carried nine times for 50 yards (5.6 average) against Tennessee Tech (9-17). Totaled seven attempts and 13 yards at Kent State (10-22). Second on team with 39 rushing yards on five carries, including 38-yard run, vs. Western Michigan (11-23). 2004: Redshirted. High School: Two-time all-state selection and team MVP. Totaled school-record 2,805 rushing yards, ranking fourth on NIC-9 career list, and established school marks with 35 touchdowns and 236 points. Named team captain and MVP, first team All-NIC-9, special mention Champaign News-Gazette All-State, and first team Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Class 7A All-State as senior. Finished second in conference rushing with 1,318 yards and 13 TDs as senior. Set school season record and led conference with 1,488 rushing yards while totaling 20 touchdowns and 6.9-yard average as junior. Named team MVP, first-team All-NIC-9, and Honorable Mention IHSFCA All-State during junior campaign. Two-time football letterwinner. Three-year honor roll student.
