Favorite Mathey-ism ... When he walks out to the mound they play the Knight Rider theme and he walks to the beat of the song. Baseball heroes growing up ... I always liked Ken Griffey, Jr. when he played for the Mariners. Favorite baseball movie ... Sandlot. I used to watch it two times a day. I still watch it a lot because its on HBO. Best baseball prank ... On a road trip during my freshman year a few of us were in our room watching a movie and I came up with the idea of filling one of those little ice buckets up with water and propping the door open and setting the bucket over the door so when someone walked in the water would spill all over them. I was listening for people walking around and the first person that almost walked in was Coach Joslyn. It was a scary moment and I'm glad I stopped him. Most famous player played with or against ... Alex Gordon (Kansas City Royals) while with Nebraska. If I was not playing baseball, I'd be playing ... Definitely football. Favorite class at NIU ... Spanish. You learn something everyday. If I could have dinner with three people in history (living or dead) they would be ... Babe Ruth, Brian Urlacher and Brett Favre. My parents were right when they told me ... That they are always right. If a movie were made of my life, the actor that would play me is ... Mark Wahlberg. What people don't know about me is ... I'm just a big teddy bear.
