The DeKalb Daily-Chronicle featured Northern Illinois baseball player Jordin Hood on the front page of its Sunday edition on Feb. 24, 2008. The Huskie third baseman was a cancer survivor in high school and has gone on to earn Freshman All-America honors at NIU in 2007.
